iPhone App Development Courses Become Increasingly Popular

As the famous apple tagline goes - there’s an app for just about anything. Well it seems colleges & universities are listening because courses for iPhone Development are now being offered in recognition of the ever-expanding smartphone industry. iPhone Applications or more commonly known as Apps are downloadable directly from the device or from iTunes and range from allowing the user to get the latest news to a game of retro pacman.

An iPhone App Development programme launched last fall and has become increasingly popular amongst students according to teaching assistant Paul Salzman. He says “We have twice as many students apply as there are slots, so we distribute a survey and have to slim it down.” Each session is recorded and distributed via iTunes which has prompted people to make videos and even websites based on the course.
With such great potential to earn money while learning - and a low entry price into the developer program at just $99, it’s no wonder the course is gathering steam with budding young entrepreneurs. It’s something students should get in to, especially if they’re doing a technology related course, it offers practical experience and realistic results!
