Apple has announced that it is gathering information on the different number of events that have occurred where iPhones have exploded. Reports of iPhones shattering have become quite common and we just covered the story of a shattering iPhone that hurt a french teenager.

Apple has stated that these events are isolated but will conduct tests to see if they can find the reason for the explosions. A spokesman for Apple in Europe added: “We are aware of these reports and we are waiting to receive the iPhones from the customers. Until we have the full details, we don’t have anything further to add.”
