iPhone jailbreak 3.1 released but doesn’t work for every model

Having only written about how Apple fixed jailbroken iPhones with the update 3.1 and well the famed Dev Team have already released an updated Pwnage tool which will allow you to jailbreak the iPhone OS 3.1
But there is a condition, this will only work if you have the original iPhone, the original iPod touch, and iPhone 3G. The 3rd generation iPod touch, 2nd generation iPod touch and the iPhone 3GS cannot be jailbroken currently. Although you do need a Mac to run the Pwnage tool software a Windows version is expected soon.
If you are still wondering whether to upgrade to OS 3.1 you may wish to wait as users have reported various problems that have resulted in iPhones and iPod touchs working poorly after upgrading.
