Charges are going to be introduced for those who access the Wall Street Journal’s website via the iPhone. The charges will be introduced within a few months and will cost $1 a week for people with an existing subscription and $2 for others.

Around 300 thousand people have downloaded the Wall street journal application and they have over million paid subscribers to their website. So if the Wall Street Journal can hook into its iPhone audience they have the potential to increase their paid subscriptions by a third.
