Verizon hoping to mend Bad Blood with Apple iPhone
December 21, 2009 by Anita

Rumor has it that the new Palm Pre phone and the improved network that will be launched in early 2010 is going to bridge the gap made between Verizon and Apple that occurred when Verizon attacked the iPhone, during the promotion of their Motorola Droid.
Verizon realizes that all good things must come to and end and in the near future the marriage or at least exclusiveness of ATT&T and the iPhone may be coming to a close. Business Week reported that Apple has decided to sell the iPhone through multiple carriers.
The Palm Pre if all works as planned may be the savior for Verizon if they do include upgrades to their network to accommodate the Apple iPhone. Sprint shipped 783,000 Pre and Pixi handsets to stores believing this amount of course would sell. The bottom line is that only 573,000 sold with the remaining in stores.
Verizon is looking to get a piece of the pie with the Apple iPhone and is listening to consumers and beefing up their service. Verizon is ready to take on the challenge and ensure that their network is making proper upgrades to ensure that all iPhone users have the speed and dependability they want with their service.
