iPhone video converters are a dime a dozen at the moment, but quite a few of them require you to pay for them.
At the same time a video converter program is a must for any serious iPhone/iPod Touch user — after all, these devices are superb as portable media players, with the only problem being that they cannot play most popular video formats.
Enter Videora, a free video converter for iPhone / iPod Touch (for more variety check out XViD4PSP).
Videora allows you to convert most video file formats out there (avi, divx, xvid, flv, x264, vob, mpeg, DVD’s, YouTube, etc.) into Apple’s MP4 format that both the iPhone and the iTouch use (actually, so does AppleTV — and Videora can convert videos for it too).
Users can select from multiple options, including video size and quality, as well as audio quality. A batch mode for multiple videos conversion is also available, while all converted videos are automatically imported into iTunes.
Videora supports both Windows and Mac computers. It’s free to download and use, although you’re encouraged to make a donation to its creators if this program was useful for you.
