Unlimited calls + Second number on your iPhone — does that sound like a dream?
Actually, that’s the new reality with the Line2 iPhone app and service by Toktumi. What’s Line 2 and who are Toktumi, you may ask?
Well Toktumi is a well known VoIP lines and PBX services provider (link), and Line2 is their latest foray into the VoIP business, and this time it’s the mobile (iPhone) one.
Just so you don’t miss their mission statement, the company bluntly states that Line2 for iPhone “adds a second number with voicemail” to your device.
And according to the company, “since the Line2.app calls use the cellular network so you don’t need to find a wifi hotspot to use it“. It also offers unlimited local calls
With such bullish statements and really cheap international calls prices — they start at 2 cents a minute — the Line2 iPhone app could become the tool of choice for VoIP iPhone junkies. After all, unlimited local calls on your iPhone, a second line on it, voicemail, and more, are just features that some customers in USA and Canada may very well be interested in (and that our mobile carriers don’t give us), especially at these prices.
