iPhone AT&T users enjoy Navigator v1.5i upgrades
February 9, 2010 by Anita

If you happen to own an iPhone and you use AT&T as your carrier, you have the awesome opportunity to explore Navigator v1.5i. Apple has all kinds of surprises from TeleNav for the Navigator for its iPhone users. As a matter of fact, there is a series of new features for the navigation experience.
What users will see with the improvements for the AT&T Navigator v1.5i for the iPhone are Shake-to-Go, which will let users shake the iPhone while they are using the AT&T Navigator in order to be rerouted to the address set as their home address. This means that the route home can be seen from any place with just a shake.
A few other upgrades or enhancements that are seen with the AT&T Navigator v1.5i include improved pedestrian mode, improved route avoidance options, last trip origin, nighttime maps, speed limit display and alerts.
The improved pedestrian mode offers users the ability to identify when there are pedestrians with the new pedestrian icon that will be seen on the map screen. The drivers can choose if they wish to steer clear of high occupancy vehicle lanes or routes that have toll roads. Last Trip Origin will be easy to find with the new Recent Places found on the menu. nighttime maps allow the brightness levels to be adjusted for driving at night for easier viewing. Speed limit display and alerts will provides speed limit information on the navigation screen as well as visual and audio alerts if the speed limit is exceeded.
Not only did TeleNav announce all the new goodies with the new version of AT&T Navigator for the iPhone, but they also gave a video demonstration for the software.
