Today, millions of individuals use Meebo to join all their friends that use an array of chat services across the internet. Now, with the new Meebo iPhone app, all iPhone users can do the same. This cool app is available on iTunes. This app will allow the opportunity to chat by way of AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Google Talk, MySpace IM, ICQ, Jabber, Facebook, as well as all other chat services while delivering messages via push notifications.

The main reason techies are excited about Meebo over other multi chat apps is the speed and ease of use. Users state that Meebo is fast, very fast. It may not offer all the fancy features but it is very easy to use and as stated before very fast. Meebo has three areas only – Accounts, Buddies, and Chats. The Accounts area gives you the ability to set your status message and toggle the messages as well as add new accounts. The Buddies area allows you to see all your contacts. The Chats area keeps track of current chatting.

The Meebo multi chat app does not support Skype which is a let down for some that prefer to use this chatting system. Release date was February 15, 2010 in the iTunes store. It is compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch, and requires iPhone OS 3.0 or later. For Meebo users this will be great as it is fast for chatting, however, no file sharing or other features, just plain chatting. The Meebo Multi-Chat iPhone app is available via a free download at the App Store.

Thanks TechCrunch!
