TwitCasting on the iPhone – Hot New Trend!
March 12, 2010 by Anita

Last year everyone talked about the iPhone app that you could use to stream videos from your iPhone to the web so other could watch while you were recording. Today, the new fad that will definitely be at the top of the most popular list of iPhone apps quickly is the TwitCasting Live app. This awesome app is going to blow your mind. Basically this app is a live streaming app and a Twitter client combined into one amazing app.
This app divides your iPhone screen in half, with the live recording at the top and your Twitter timeline at the bottom giving you a way to update your status, and access the internet.
You will be able to automatically tweet the URL for your live broadcast to all of your followers. They will just hit the link and they will be able to watch as you broadcast on the internet or on their iPhones. If they are watching on their iPhone they will not receive the audio. After you are finished recording you can decide to save and archive your recording on the TwitCasting website.
TwitCasting Live is compatible with iPhone 3G and 3GS using either Wi-Fi or 3G. This app was launched in Japan first, but the English version was unveiled from TechCrunch last week. Tokyo based Twitcasting provider Sidefeed stated that they have accommodated more than 50,000 live broadcasts during the app’s first month on the market.
