Developers receive test iPad, Apps removed from App Store after public criticism, free Fitaide Lite for iPhone available – iPhone World Links 03/19/2010

Apple chose a few developers to receive a test iPad along with all the strict rules and requirements. These secret developers not only received a test iPad but also a very long detailed rules and regulations that was a whopping 10 pages long.

Tommy Refene’s iPhone apps were removed from the App Store shortly after the developer criticized Apple in public. Refene’s spoke at the Game Developers Conference recently stating he “absolutely f***ing hate[s] the iPhone App Store.”

Fitaide Lite, the free version by Poscitech was unveiled for the iPhone and the iPod Touch. The lite version offers the same core features but can only run thirty minutes per session.

Creators of apps can now begin submitting their apps for the iPad App Store. Developers should be receiving the emails any day and all developers must have their app submitted by March 27th in order to be part of the grand opening.
