Download: Ultrasnow 1.1-1 – the iOS 4.1 iPhone unlock hack

If you want to unlock your iPhone 3G, iPhone 3Gs or iPhone 4 running firmware / iOS 4.1, the tool that you need to download and use is Ultrasn0w v1.1-1.

What is Ultrasn0w you may ask?

Ultrasn0w is the unlock hack that enables you to activate your phone to work with any mobile carrier (don’t confuse that with jailbreak which is a precusor to the unlock process!)

With iOS 4.1, how can you install Ultrasn0w?

#1 – You need to jailbreak your iPhone using Pwnage Tool (see our pwnage tool 4.1 jailbreak guide here).
#2 – Once the previous step is done, reboot your iPhone and load Cydia app from your springboard.
#3 – Go to “search” and look for “ultrasn0w”. (If ultrasn0w doesn’t show when you search Cydia, add the repo: repo666.ultrasn0w.com). Once located, simply install Ultrasn0w 1.1-1 and reboot your iPhone.
#4 – You’re all done and are successfully unlocked if everything went well!

If you have a bootloader of 5.08 and baseband of 5.14.02 you can downgrade your baseband using fuzzyband AND THEN use ultrasn0w to unlock your phone. If your bootloader is higher than 5.08 e.g. 6.04 then your SCREWED at the moment and will have to WAIT.

I keep on reading after Nov. Ultrasn0w or Limesn0w is suppose to unlock 5.14.02 but it’s already October and I haven’t found any solution yet.

I got my 3G Jailbroken but it has Baseband 5.14.02 but Ultrasn0w 1.1-1, did not unlock the phone so that it can be used with T-mobile.

Hi, my phone’s wifi is dead. So i tried to restore to see id that was the problem and did not solve it

I did the jailbreak with redsn0w and thta when well but then could not connect to Cydia for the ultrasn0w. So i loaded it with diskaid to the iPhone (version 1.1-1) and I get this message “unable to load network list”
