Chronic Dev Team working on a new iPhone hacking tool: think “xpwn+idevicerestore+greenpois0n+ideviceactive+pwnagetool”

According to the Chronic Dev Team’s p0sixninja (read iPhoneWorld’s recent interview with posixninja here), the Chronic Dev Team is currently working on a brand new jailbreak / unlock tool for Apple’s iOS devices.
In the process they try to avoid using the existing exploits/code from the iPhone Dev Team’s hacks.
p0sixninja writes:
we’re working on a total custom firmware solution, but it won’t be added to [greenpois0n]
think xpwn+idevicerestore+greenpois0n+ideviceactive+pwnagetool

[the tool]’s still in early stages right now
we’re trying to avoid dev team software (which would make development quicker) to avoid giving any extra ammo
We at iPhoneWorld.ca would certainly love to see this tool. After all the more jailbreak / unlock tools for iPhone we can get our hands on, the better it is for us.
