Google Instant search now on iPhone, Android [BETA]
November 5, 2010 by Brian
Google has now launched an iPhone / Android beta service of its recently introduced “Instant” search option.
Currently available only at google.com (US Google search version), Google Instant allows iPhone iOS 4.x users to see instant suggestions and results for whatever search query they’re typing in, in a similar fashion to how this feature works on your regular computer.
The only problem though, is that the iPhone’s screen is not exactly meant for this task: due to the virtual keyboard taking close to half of the screen, you can only see the top search result, forcing you to scroll down to see the other ones and as such limiting the usefulness of this tool.

To try out Google Instant on your iPhone or Android phone simply proceed to google.com and activate the Instant beta (more information and instructions can be seen in video below).
