Wired / wireless MIDI support on iPhone, iPad, iTouch with iOS 4.2 [VIDEO]

It’s reported that the new iOS 4.2 features full blown support for MIDI devices both via wired and wireless connection.

The feature is available for all iPhones, iPads and iTouch devices running iOS 4.2 and utilizes either WiFi for wireless connections or the Camera Connection Kit for USB output.

This will certainly benefit the professional musicians who so far resorted to MIDI sim apps for their idevices.

And Apple is once again opening another potentially huge niche for itself with the addition of this MIDI feature.
