Paying with your iPhone at Starbucks using Starbucks Card iPhone app [VIDEO]

Recently Starbucks launched a new way to pay for your coffee in its New York stores – by using your iPhone.
After a successful test pilot of the Starbucks Card iPhone app in Starbucks’ home town of Seattle and in parts of Silicon Valley, the coffee giant started rolling out the service in major cities, starting with New York.
The Starbucks Card iPhone app is a pretty nifty concept too – you simply register your real Starbucks customer card with the app, and when it comes to paying for your coffee all you need to do is show your iPhone to the cashier, who will scan the unique barcode from Starbucks Card app and deduct the funds from your account.

The best thing is that it actually seems to work very well and actually makes paying for your coffee faster.
