How to fix iTunes error 1015 on your iPhone using iReb [VIDEO GUIDE]

If you’ve happened to encounter the 1015 error while trying to jailbreak/unlock your iPhone (that seems to be a pretty common situation that can even occasionally occur while you’re simply restoring your device), what you need to know is that there is a solution to this problem.

You can use iREB 4.0.x/4.1 RC2 (Windows-only at the moment) to successfully fix the 1015 error on your iOS device. And if you need help doing that, there is now a tutorial for that.

The video guide below will show you how to do that – all you need to do is download iReb 4.0.x/4.1 r2 and follow the instructions below.

    hey, i tried doing this followed the exact instructions. but it still isnt working. its rebooting but then it still says iphone in recovery mode!
    please help lol

    Hi I tried it and when I reach almost the end in iTunes for the restore, I get again the error 1015. Any other suggestion?

    this worked. i have to install 4.1 firmware in itunes using shift + restore. still got an error code from itunes at the end. then i was able to use the ireb grabber to unlock it out of recovery mode

    Hi! i’ve followed perfectly your instructions..but at the end, when i try to restart the process with Itunes, the same errors 1015, appears on the desaktop.. what i have to do?
