According to the latest online rumours fueled by “anonymous sources” and industry pundits, the iPhone 5 should be officially announced and released sometime in October 2011.
The much anticipated fifth generation smartphone from Apple is said to be unveiled at an October 4th, 2011 event.
At the same time it is being reported that Apple’s employees won’t be able to take vacation days starting October 12, 2011, which could be an indicator of iPhone 5’s potential release date.
Industry pundits are also anticipating that the public launch of iOS firmware v5.0 will coincide with the launch of the iPhone 5G, and as such we could expect iOS 5 to be released on October 12, 2011.
